Hey all~ I know we mentioned we would do this, but we are slow. Better late than never. This is a list of acceptable sources for online streaming for club shows. If you look through these sites' anime viewing sections and see something you'd like to see in club, it is good to go as far as copyright issues, and we can watch it in club. Without further adieu, here we go. [/li][li] www.YouTube.com: If you find something on YouTube that is posted by the original copyright owners (like FUNimation's page here: www.youtube.com/user/funimation) it's A-OK for club viewing. The company itself who owns the American licenses is the group that uploaded these videos so they are legal for us to view in club. [/li][li]Subscription Service Anime: CrunchyRoll and Funimation only. Since we own a subscription to these services and would like to watch a series that is available on it, the club is allowed to watch the service in club and watch the series you want to see via that means. [I've checked this out with the school officials and they have approved this method of viewing.] Please be warned that if you do decide to pick a show that is on the service, we will have to be careful that your show isn't pulled from the service before we finish it. [/li][/ul] Thanks guys!

I've taken the liberty of editing this thread since the rules on campus have changed. Youtube should still be fine since it is something anyone can watch at all times as long as it's legal. No company can complain that we are watching it since they put it up themselves... but I'm not sure they still do this... Any, just some new info.
